For I have been dreaming of boyfriends past... for the fourth night in a row.
Every night, I have seen a different ex boyfriend.
Some stay to hold me and talk, others see me and turn away.
What is it that connects people with those that they have cared for in the past? And why do some people think that it's better to walk away, to not be friends?
It seems to me that after giving a a chunk of your life to someone, that you would want to hear from them, see them from time to time. When did the phrase "let's just be friends" become so unattractive?
